What is Mild Cognitive Impairment?
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is the stage between the expected cognitive decline of normal aging and the more serious decline of dementia. It can involve problems with memory, language, thinking and judgment that are greater than normal age-related changes.
Cognitive impairment reduces the ability of individuals to take care of themselves and increase the risk of social isolation, institutionalization and demoralization.

INFINITy kick-off
Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), Universidad Politècnica de València (Spain), Lodz Medical University (Poland), LEITAT (Spain), Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), MySphera (Spain) and Fundació Joan Costa Roma (Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa -CST) (Spain) have initiated a project to market an ICT solution that supports the independence living of people with mild cognitive impairments while slowing down the progression of the disease.
INFINITy project, which began in January, hold its first face-to-face meeting in the premises of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid past 31th of January.
